Cookie Policy
We only use cookies and browser storage needed to sign you in and remember your preferences. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is nothing to opt out of.
1What we use
A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Browser storage (“localStorage” and “sessionStorage”) works similarly but is only read by our pages, never sent to our servers automatically. This policy lists everything Storage4Everyone stores in your browser.
3Browser storage
| Key | Purpose |
|---|---|
theme | Your light or dark mode choice. |
s4e_auth_user | A copy of your profile (email, name and token balance) so the dashboard loads quickly. |
s4e_remember_me | Your “Remember me” choice at sign-in. |
s4e_dismissed_announcements | Announcements you closed, so they are not shown again. |
s4e_cache_* (sessionStorage) | Temporary dashboard data, cleared when you close the tab. |
On a shared computer, sign out when you finish and clear your browser data.
4Bot check on the waitlist
While the waitlist is open, our website loads Cloudflare Turnstile to stop automated sign-ups. Turnstile receives your IP address and browser signals and may set its own cookies. It is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy and our Privacy Policy.
5Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the session cookie, you will not be able to sign in. Preference cookies and storage can be cleared at any time without affecting your account.
