Uploads from the dashboard, the SDK or the REST API go through Storage4Everyone, which checks them before they are stored.
Uploads are up to 100 MB per file today.
// npm install @storage4everyone/sdk
import { Storage4Everyone } from "@storage4everyone/sdk"
import { readFile } from "node:fs/promises"
// Reads S4E_API_KEY and S4E_BUCKET from the environment
const s4e = new Storage4Everyone()
await s4e.upload("reports/q3.pdf", await readFile("q3.pdf"))
const { objects } = await s4e.list()
const link = await s4e.getDownloadUrl("reports/q3.pdf")
All traffic to Storage4Everyone uses HTTPS.
New buckets are private. Files are reached only through expiring links.
Add a passkey (Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello or a security key) for two-factor sign-in.
Read-only by default, limited to chosen buckets, with optional expiry. Only a hash is stored.
Changing your password or unlinking GitHub needs a code sent to your email.
Review your account's activity in Audit Logs and get an email when you sign in from a new IP address.
